WIKUS Product Classifications

634-SKALAR-M42-WIKUS-900In order to help you select the best band saw blade for your bandsaw cutting needs, WIKUS groups them into three performance classes:

  1. Level One – standard bandsaw blades that can be used universally
  2. Level Two – bandsaw blades that offer higher performance
  3. Level Three – high-tech bandsaw blades that meet the highest standards
  4. Special – special products for use in high-performance sawing technology and very specific and special applications

These levels of bandsaw blades are also classified within bi-metal and carbide cutting. There are 3 levels within bimetal band saw blade selections and all 4 within carbide band saw blade selections.

To determine which level of band saw blade is best for you, depends on the application (the material being cut) as well as the shape and density of the material.
