KASTOvertical (semi-automatic)

The KASTOvertical is our smallest block and plate saw. Unlike the other KASTO block and plate saws not the saw head moves, but the machine table. This machine is ideal to cut “smaller” blocks and plates e.g. in the tool and die making industry. KASTO-typical the construction of this machine is very rigid and even tough to cut materials, such as Titanium, Hastelloy or Inconel can be cut without problems.

The KASTOplate U 3 is the ideal machine for thinner plates with a thickness of up to 12.6”.
It has an excellent price performance ratio, but has all the features of its bigger brothers out of the KASTObbs-series: The same feed unit, the same cutting performance and same cutting accuracy as well as the very easy access to the material.

The KASTObloc U 5 is basically the same machine as the KASTOplate U 3 but offers a bigger cutting height.

KASTObbs Series

Specifically designed for longitudinal cutting, The KASTO block band saws are the right choice for cutting different dimensions from blocks or plates; squares or flats.
This principle is perfectly suited to trim plate layers and to perform notching cuts. With the use of bi-metal or carbide tipped saw blades, all material qualities – from aluminum to difficult to cut materials – can be handled with superior cutting performance.
KASTO offers a vast variety of semi-automatic and fully automatic bbs-block and plate saws with different cutting capacities in order to accommodate many different applications.
