KASTO UNIBLOC - Stacking Cradle Systems The Stacking Cradle System UNIBLOC is the ideal solution where automatic bar storage systems are not economically feasible. Often, small storage volumes and small to medium turnover numbers only require a transport device where easy access, small footprint and uncomplicated operation are most important. The KASTO UNIBLOC system is suitable for all material length from approx. 10' to 80' and is also available for wide materials such as sheet metal or plates. It only requires an overhead crane with two hoists and therefore handling of this system is extremely simple. |

UNITOWER The KASTO UNITOWER is designed to store bar stock, profiles or even pallets and boxes in small to medium quantities. With a load capacity of up to 11,000 lbs per cassette and a maximum of approx. 100 cassettes per system an extremely high storage density can be achieved on a very small footprint. Due to the flexibility of this system it is suitable for all different kinds of applications in manufacturing, service centers, job shops, window manufacturers and other industries. The KASTO UNITOWER saves floor space, optimizes the material flow, reduces handling times and increases work safety significantly. In combination with other machine tools such as saws or lathes a highly efficient "production cell" can be realized. |

UNITOWER B - The KASTO UNITOWER B is similar to the "regular" UNITOWER but is specifically designed to store sheet metal and plates. With a load capacity of up to 11,000 lbs per storage-pallet a maximum system height of up to 82 feet an extremely high storage density can be achieved on a very small footprint. The UNITOWER B offers the same advantages as the UNITOWER regarding flexibility, space savings, optimization of material flow, handling time and work safety and can also be combined with sheet metal processing machines to create a production line with fully automatic loading of the material. |

UNITOWER C - The KASTO UNITOWER C is the youngest member of the UNITOWER family. It is specifically designed to store sheet metal in smaller quantities or relatively light weights. Maximum sheet metal size is 5' x 10' (w x l) and maximum load capacity per cassette is 6,600 lbs per storage-pallet. This system type is available in a semi-automatic and a fully automatic version. |

UNIPORTAL - The KASTO UNIPORTAL is a flexible storage and retrieval system suitable for medium sized businesses e.g. as a buffer system in the manufacturing to supply machine tools with material. This system is available for bar stock or sheet metal. Load capacity per storage location is up to 6,600 lbs and because the loading and unloading stations can be placed very flexibly this system can be adapted to almost every material flow situation. Due to its modular design, the UNIPORTAL can be extended without any problems in the future. Only additional shelf blocks are needed. The crane rails will be extended, permitting the gantry crane to be used as is. |

It offers higher load capacity (11,000 lbs / cassette) and is faster than the UNIPORTAL system. Like all KASTO systems the layout can be adapted to almost every material flow situations and requirements and is suitable for applications with up to 1500 storage location. Computer controlled, the UNITOP allows a perfect overview of the inventory at any time and reaches up to 32 picks per our. With the optional integration of an automatic bar separator and a connection to a KASTO CNC-saw or other machines tools such as lathes, a flexible, profitable manufacturing system is created. |

UNIGRIP- For system heights from 13' - 49' with loads of up to 6,600 lbs., the UNIGRIP system is the perfect choice. It offers everything an efficient storage system needs - and with low investment costs. The design guarantees great space utilization and short cycle times. The cassettes can be modified to accommodate individual requirements by adding dividers, lining of the material supports or floor plates. The UNIGRIP system is able to provide up to 40 picks per hour and is suitable for applications with 400 storage locations and more. |

UNICOMPACT The Honeycomb Storage System UNICOMPACT features excellent space utilization
- for new as well as for already existing buildings, i.e. the classic
facilities of steel service centers. The design of the system guarantees
that as much space as possible is used for material storage. Newest
technology allows for up to 60 picks per hour. An extensive variety
of different station designs increases the efficiency for cutting and
commissioning of solids or shapes of steel, aluminum, plastic or non-ferrous
materials. The KASTO UNICOMPACT is available for bar stock or sheet
metal or for the combination of both. |

and automatically restore the remnants. A storage computer keeps inventory
up-to-date. KASTO offers this flexible manufacturing system for the
sawing department complete with storage system, saw, control and service
as one-source supplier! Result: Highest reliability and minimum idle
times due to perfectly fine-tuned individual components. Equipped
with discharge and sorting devices for the cut off pieces a KASTOcenter
