The KASTOtwin LE4 is a high performance fully-automatic band saw in double column design. The infeed shuttle has a stroke of 59” and is driven by a ball screw spindle for accurate positioning of the material. Together with the carbide band saw guides with anti-vibration rollers, heavy-duty guide arms and the 1-1/4” saw blade highest precision and cutting performance are guaranteed.

All functions of this machine are comfortably executed from the conveniently located CompactControl (PLC). In order to achieve optimum results for different kinds and shapes of material the machine is equipped with a frequency controlled saw drive with infinitely adjustable cutting speed and the proven KASTO UH-Hydraulic system can be set for constant feed rate or constant cutting force or the combination of both.

The standard safety package shuts the machine down in case of blade breakage, blade slippage or a lack of clamping pressure for safest operation.
