The KASTOtwin A6 is a high performance fully-automatic band saw in double column design. Compared to competitor’s machines with the same cutting capacity this machine is extremely rugged built and offers best cutting performance for solids and profiles even out of tough to cut material.

The infeed shuttle has a stroke of 29.5” and is driven by a ball screw spindle for accurate positioning of the material. Together with the carbide band saw guides with anti-vibration rollers, heavy-duty guide arms and the 2” saw blade highest precision and long blade life are guaranteed.

All functions of this machine are comfortably executed from the conveniently located CompactControl (PLC). In order to achieve optimum results for different kinds and shapes of material the machine is equipped with a frequency controlled saw drive with infinitely adjustable cutting speed and the proven KASTO UH-Hydraulic system can be set for constant feed rate or constant cutting force or the combination of both.

The standard safety package shuts the machine down in case of blade breakage, blade slippage or a lack of clamping pressure for safest operation. In order to make the operation even safer, the machine comes fully enclosed and meets latest safety regulations.
