The KASTOtec A5 is a heavy duty, fully hydraulic high-performance band saw designed for toughest applications and is even suitable for extremely difficult to cut materials.

The saw head filled with polymer casting eliminates vibrations approx. five times better than regular cast iron saw heads. This results in higher cutting performance and longer blade life. The extremely rigid design combined with the strong and precise guidance of the saw head guarantee highest accuracy.

All functions of this machine are comfortably executed from the conveniently located CompactControl (PLC). In order to achieve optimum results for different kinds and shapes of material the machine is equipped with a frequency controlled saw drive with infinitely adjustable cutting speed and the proven KASTO UH-Hydraulic system can be set for constant feed rate or constant cutting force or the combination of both.
